Eligibility for ANM Course
Academic Qualifications:
Candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board in any stream. A minimum aggregate of 40% marks is typically required. Preference may be given to students from the Science stream, but Arts students with relevant subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, and English are also eligible as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) guidelines.
Age Limit:
Applicants must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December of the admission year. The maximum age limit is generally 35 years, but candidates should verify with BYMS or the concerned nursing authority for any recent updates.
Language Proficiency:
Proficiency in English is recommended, as it is one of the mediums of instruction in the ANM program at BYMS. Familiarity with the local language may also be required for effective communication during clinical training and community postings.
